Public Notice (1-24-2025 - to - 3-24-2025) – Town of Windsor Amendment to the 208 Areawide Water Quality Management Plan – 208 Wastewater Utility Service Area Modification & Lift Station

2025 January 24 Town of Windsor WUSA Modification & Lift Station.pdf

The North Front Range Water Quality Planning Association (NFRWQPA) will conduct a public hearing to amend the 208 Areawide Water Quality Management Plan. The public hearing date tentatively would be March 27, 2025, at 2:00 PM. The Town of Windsor proposes a new lift station and modifies its 208 Wastewater Utility Service Area boundaries within an amendment of their Utility Plan originally approved on December 12, 2019. The following maps illustrate the current (Figure 1) and proposed (Figure 2) Wastewater Utility Service Area boundaries and the newly proposed lift station (Figure 3). The 208 Wastewater Utility Service Area boundary proposes changes to the service area on the eastern edge of town at the Great Western Industrial Park. Approximately 156 acres will be removed from Windsor’s Wastewater Utility Service Area and transferred to the Town of Severance, while approximately 115 acres will be added to Windsor’s Wastewater Utility Service Area, being transferred from the City of Greeley. The net change will result in approximately 0.6 MGD less projected flow to Windsor’s wastewater collection system.

The new Overland Lift Station #9 will serve an area within the town’s existing wastewater utility service area, and no basin or system-wide flow projections will be changed as a result of the lift station project. The project is anticipated to be constructed between 2025-2026.
